We fund programs only in San Diego and Imperial Counties.
No. Alliance Healthcare Foundation accepts requests at all times and reviews Letters
of Intent on a monthly basis.
No. The budget, budget narrative and nonprofit status letter are considered as
additional pages. The three-to-five-page letter should include:
- a brief description of the project or program's target population;
- a detailed description of the project or program, including its rationale
(the reason the program was developed);
- names and qualifications of the individuals responsible for developing and
administering the project or program;
- a brief description of your plan for evaluating the results of the project
or program;
- the mission and history of your organization; and
- the primary contact person's name and number.
Our grants, awarded for a one-to-three-year period, range from $5,000 to approximately
$300,000.
No. Alliance Healthcare Foundation provides funding for comprehensive health programs
to non-profit organizations.
Is there a timeframe within which I need to submit information requested by AHF staff? Yes. You must respond within four (4) months or your request will be closed.
It typically takes about 90 days after the Letter of Intent is reviewed to fund
grants up to $25,000. Grants for larger amounts may take three to nine months.
No. AHF's funding process begins with the submission of a Letter of Intent.
Our staff may request a site visit after we have reviewed your Letter of Intent.
