Responsive Grants: Under $25,000

Alliance Healthcare Foundation considers responsive funding requests of up to $25,000 on a case-by-case basis. This grants program is in place to ensure that the immediate needs of our community are met. Please contact Alliance Healthcare Foundation to discuss this program.

Mission Support Grants: $25,000 to $100,000

This is an invitation only program. 

Qualifying agencies must be operationally stable with strong leadership and have demonstrated their commitment to increasing the capacity of the health care delivery system for the poor, working poor and homeless populations of San Diego. Prospective grantees will be invited to submit a short 250 word statement describing what they are doing to increase the efficacy of their own operations. Qualified agencies may be required to meet with the AHF Board of Directors, who will make the final selection on which organizations to fund.  Selected grantees must report to the community on their efforts via monthly “blogging” reports on the Foundation's website.

Innovation Initiative: Up to $1 million

We are pleased to introduce the Innovation Initiative (i2), a unique funding opportunity to benefit the greater San Diego region’s poor and vulnerable communities.
